Equipped with Roland’s latest ZEN-Core Synthesis sound engine, JUPITER-Xm is capable of transforming our legendary synthesizers into unprecedented sounds. It recreates the sounds of our beloved classic analog synths like the JUPITER-8, JUNO-106, and SH-101, as well as digital devices like the vintage XV-5080 and modern RD stage piano. You can also get many Roland classic drum machines, such as TR-808, TR-909, CR-78, which laid the foundation of electronic music and dance music. It’s like a studio full of vintage gear, but with modern features and a deep synth engine that lets you explore uncharted sonic territory.

Smart functions inspire inspiration
Need some magical, quick inspiration? JUPITER-Xm's I-Arpeggio is a next-generation arpeggiator that uses artificial intelligence to not only accompany you but also inspire you. I-Arpeggio takes your input—notes, rhythms, phrases—and creates complementary drum parts, bass lines, chords, and arpeggiated melody lines. It operates across all five voices of the JUPITER-Xm simultaneously, and the resulting pattern can be customized and even exported to your DAW. These are not canned backing tracks, but intelligently generated beats and phrases that intensify the energy of a live performance and shatter the creator’s stumbling blocks.

The power of polyphony
JUPITER-Xm can layer up to five parts, four for synths and one for drums. Its engine can drive multiple Roland classics like the JX-8P or JUPITER-8, with enough simultaneous voices to create rich, overlapping sounds and complex accompaniment parts. You can create perfect bass and lead melody splits with the SH-101 and JUNO-106, layer rich RD piano tones and gorgeous JX-8P strings, or layer multiple JUPITER-8s for monster sounds.
