Korg volca modularIs a semi-modular synthesizer.It has 8 modules and 50 tone points. As you learn the basics of modular synthesis, you can use the popular features of the volca synth series to control unique and diverse analog sounds.

Features

The volca module consists of an independent analog synthesizer module, a digital effects processor and a sequencer. Each module has been carefully selected to ensure its individual integrity.

Its modules connect via the included pin-cable, allowing for a wide variety of combinations. The unit's compact housing provides 50 plug points. Inputs and outputs are color-coded for easy identification. Signal levels between modules are generally compatible, allowing for hidden possibilities through counterintuitive tinkering.

Although the volca module is a semi-modular synthesizer, it is equipped with a full-fledged 16-step sequencer, providing a wide range of functions, allowing you to enjoy automatic performance even when used independently.
